Avcon costume: Part 5/final
So I’ll pick up where I left off.

Well, this is what I started off with this afternoon:
and then i realised that i hAD A SAW THAT I COULD’VE USED THIS WHOLE TIME SO I GOT IT OUT AND MADE EVERYTHING EASIER AND NOT HURT AS MUCH OMGGGGGGGGGG.

Of course the eyes wouldn’t stay up so I moved them for the photo >_>

well i paid $29 for a 0.5 metre squared piece of fibreglass, with enough resin to cover it (apparently) and like all the basic stuff you need~
it’s $20 for a 0.25 metre one~~

Avcon costume: Part 3
So last Saturday I finished fibreglassing.
This is the aftermath.
Fibreglass everywhere. Everything stick. omgh.
Got resin and strands on my shoes, trackies, jumper… Wasn’t too good.
But this was the ball when I was done:
Forgot to add resin ontop. Oops. No wonder I had half a can of it left >_>

Avcon costume: Part 2, week 2 or 3
So I’ve finally put a few layers of paper mache on.
This is meant to be a sphere.
A perfectly round sphere.
It looks like a fucking christmas tree decoration.
When it first started drying, since it’s a not very inflated ball, it probably collapsed on itself .__.
Anyway, I sand papered it, tried to get it more spherical, so I put more paper mache on the top and parts of it where...
